Religious Arrogance

From this week’s Bill Maher show

• If you wanna get people to believe in your God, make sure you can do something impressive, like, not let you get kidnapped
• because Muslim extremists are generally a) Muslim and b) extremists
• why are there still Christian missionaries anyway? I’m pretty sure everyone’s at least heard about Jesus by now
• So it comes down to arrogance. “Once they hear this, they’ll change their mind”

I agree, i think it’s all about religious arrogance – that my god is better than your god, my religion is better than yours. You have not seen the truth, you need to be educated etc.

I despise this condescending attitude of missionary people, but I’ve already expressed my agreeance with Bill Maher on this subject before, so i digress.
