CNN 에서 사람죽이는 일을 생중계로 보여주는 것만큼 이상한 일도 없다. Larry King 조차 ‘it’s weird to broadcast someone’s death live’ 라고 말하기도 했다.

후세인이 ‘쳐죽일 놈’ 인 것은 100번 생각해도 맞지만, 너희가 누구라고 다른 나라의 전대통령을 사형을 시킬 수가 있나? Oh, don’t give me the BS that Iraqi gov. killed him. You backed them up! They are the puppets.

그래놓고 ‘우리는 사형제도에 반대하지만 이라크 정부가 내린 결론을 존중한다’ 며 기가 막힌 논평을 내는 토니 블레어의 노동당도 짜증난다.

극우의 소리로 유명한 Fox News 는 아주 대놓고 “Watch your back Kim Jong Il, Ahmadinejad, Chavez, and Qaddafi” 라고 말한다.

As disgusting as they may be, who the hell are you to judge and kill these people?

가장 disgusting 한 기사는 후세인이 ‘humanity’ 의 적으로 처형을 당한것이라는 내용이었다. 그런 죄값이라면 수많은 사람들을 이유없이 살해하고 있는 Bush Administration 은 얼마나 다른가?

자신들이 다른 나라보다 훨씬 ‘higher moral ground’ 를 가지고 있다고 착각하는 많은 Western 문화, 후세인의 처형 비디오가 무슨 쇼라도 되는 양 ‘ 나 이거 봤다’ 며 떠드는 사람들…… So disgusting.

I’m refusing to watch the video, refusing to agree that some (people or governments) are morally higher than others, refusing to accept that US or any other nation for that matter has the right to kill or execute the dictators. Those bastards should be judged by their own people in their own country without any US influence.

So don’t cheer up that you got rid of one bastard. In the meantime, you are becoming one.
