Time 지 올해의 인물 – You!

But look at 2006 through a different lens and you’ll see another story, one that isn’t about conflict or great men. It’s a story about community and collaboration on a scale never seen before. It’s about the cosmic compendium of knowledge Wikipedia and the million-channel people’s network YouTube and the online metropolis MySpace. It’s about the many wresting power from the few and helping one another for nothing and how that will not only change the world, but also change the way the world changes.

Time 지가 올해의 인물로 인터넷을 Social networking 의 광장으로 만든 ‘당신들’을 선정했다.

그만큼 올해에 소위 Web 2.0 로 표현되는 연결의 플랫폼이 엄청난 힘을 발휘했다는 것일텐데.

역사는 몇명의 영웅에 의해 변한다는 관점을 버리고 일반사람들이 만들어 간다는 관점을 택해야 하는 것이 어제오늘의 일은 아닐  것.

Web 이 가져다 주는 파괴력이 일반 사람의 권력을 다시 가져다 주는 방향으로 진행할 지는 더 두고 볼 일이다.
